The City of Washington curfew is now at 8 p.m. until further notice. The city is taking this action due to several reasons:

• Motorists continue to go down our one-way streets in the opposite direction.
• Motorists continue to ride in streets that are flooded causing a “ripple” effect adding additional damage to flooded property.
• Motorists continue to ride to close to our EMS personnel when they are assisting victims of the storm.
