From Beaufort County Schools

Beaufort County Schools will be closed on Monday, Sept. 17 for all students and staff. Twelve-month staff can report to work if it’s safe for them to travel and conditions allow for them to do so. Beaufort County is still experiencing power outages, flooded roads and displaced families. Please know that we want to get the word out about school closings as fast as possible and we just ask for patience as many factors go into this decision. Most importantly, we want to make the best decision possible for the safety and well-being of our students, staff and community.
