CADETS LEND A HAND: The Washington High School JROTC III class lent a hand to support Hurricane Florence relief effort earlier this week.  The students loaded 17 Red Cross trucks with 200-250 meals each, for a combined total of more than 4,000 meals. These trucks were taking lunches out to the remote areas most affected by the hurricane. Additionally, the group provided lunches and helped the kitchen staff prepare the meals and hand them out during lunch, with more than 100 people served.  At the same time, students distributed 70 bags with hygiene items and helped wherever help was needed. Participating students included Natryal Banks, Aaron Corella, Niara Ebron, Christine Goddard, Rayvonda Grimes, Dyshanek Hodges, Misae M. Delgado, DeViyah Minor, Michael LDR Reid, Kymijah Williams, Amarion Hansley, Skyelr Reising and Malachi Cobb.
