This Christmas tree ornament, first of a series about Tyrrell County, depicts Laurel Point Light House that stood in Albemarle Sound, which was chosen to honor the heroic men who served there and the vessels it protected. The ornaments are numbered and limited to 250. They can be purchased for $10 at the Tyrrell County Genealogical and Historical Society booth during the Scuppernong River Festival in Columbia on October 13.
