Mr. Melvin Lee Woolard, of 27 Vermont Ave., Washington, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at Ridgewood Rehabilitation & Living Center, Washington. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at Davenport Temple COGIC, 2575 W. Fifth St., Washington. Burial will be at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Goldsboro. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., one hour prior to service at the church. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington. At other times the family will receive friends at the home. Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home.
