Pets of the Week: Nov. 3, 2018

Those interested in adopting a pet should inquire at the Betsy Bailey Nelson Animal Control Facility, 3931 U.S. Highway 264 East, from 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturdays. Because of overcrowded conditions, the animals listed are only available as indicated.

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests for more information with regard to the animals appearing in Pets of the Week may be directed to shelter staff in person at the shelter during business hours or by emailing animal.control@co.beaufort.nc.us — always use the animal’s ID number.

Please note, the shelter is closed on the first Wednesday of each month for cleaning and maintenance.

 

Sparkle

Sparkling glacial blue eyes that will take your breath away and a luxurious coat of snow white with gray/black accents, this Siberian husky mix is a beautiful girl. At approximately 2 years old, this large, friendly and smart dog will do best with owner(s) willing to give her love, attention, take her with them on their outings, give her lots of regular exercise, play may be included, in a fenced area or on a leash. Georgie and Porgie

Friendly, playful, charming and at 6 weeks old, these kittens just want love, attention and quality play time. The shelter lists both kittens as males. Adorable American shorthair kittens, Georgie is a tabby with his coat of pale orange and darker orange stripes, and

Porgie, a bi-color, wears his coat of white and black. Endearing as can be, these kittens will fit well into a variety of home settings. When given the love, warmth and stability of a good forever home(s) they will blossom into devoted pets and companions. Come in and meet
