3,135 members on the Tideland EMC electric grid in the vicinity of N.C. Highway 32 are without power this evening according to an alert from the company. Tideland EMC phone lines are also down as well and crews have been dispatched to both locations. Both the Washington and Five Points substations are without power due to a Dominion Power transmission outage, according to the alert.
