The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man, Juan Manuel Cruz.

The Washington Police Department reports that Cruz is 30 years old, hispanic, 5′ 6″, weighing approximately 200 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. His clothing description is unknown, but he may be wearing white bowling shoes or red/black gym shoes.

Cruz was last seen at the Washington Motel at 1011 Carolina Avenue in Washington. Possible destinations include Wilson or Raleigh.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Cruz, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. Anyone with information about Juan Manuel Cruz should call the Washington Police Department at 252-946-1444.
