Six mobile homes were set up in Tyrrell County during the last half of 2018, Joie Spencer, inspections director, has reported.

That figure is five more than were permitted in the immediately preceding six months and one more than in all of the July 2017 through June 2018 fiscal year.

One stick-built and one modular home permit were issued in the past six months. There were two of each of those permits issued during all of FY 2018.

The numbers of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, repair, and structural addition permits during July-December 2018 each lagged behind activity in the previous year.
