Sheriff’s office arrest two on meth charges

On Jan. 26, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Priscilla Modlin, 29 years of age, and Benjamin Brickhouse, 35 years of age, both of 3384 Lizzard Slip Road in Washington. They were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Their arrests stemmed from investigators receiving complaints and conducting surveillance. Investigators executed a search warrant on their residence and found methamphetamine, methamphetamine smoking pipes, snorting straws, digital scales and plastic bags used to package methamphetamine for resale.
Modlin was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond. Brickhouse was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
