2019 Northeastern North Carolina Craft Workshop

Registration for the 2018 Northeastern North Carolina Craft Workshop will begin on February 8, 2019 and will be accepted on a “first come, first serve” basis until the March 25, 2019 deadline. Registration forms and class information can be requested from Dee Furlough at the Tyrrell County Cooperative Extension Center or the Dare County Cooperative Extension Center or by emailing at dee_furlough@ncsu.edu.
The registration fee is $10.00 per day. All registrations are non-refundable, but transferable, and must be received by the March 25, 2019 deadline. Class kit fees vary depending on class selection. The workshop is designed and open to everyone and anyone interested in learning a craft – whether hobbyist, adult or youth groups, craft teachers, small business persons, etc…
The 2019 Workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 14th and Wednesday, May 15th at the Vernon G. James Research & Extension Center located at the Tidewater Research Station on NC Highway 32 in Plymouth, NC. Hours are 9:30 am to 4:00 pm daily.
Craft classes are as follows:
Basketry – Colorful Tray, Basketry – Mixed Media Shell Basket, Bead Weaving Peyote Stitch Bracelet, Copper Enamel Jewelry, Crochet – Beginner, Decoy Carving & Painting, Embroidery – Beginner, Fishing Fly Tying & Small Spinner Bait, Glass Etching, Jewelry Christmas Tree on Velvet, Painting in Acrylic, Painting with Alcohol Ink, Painting with Watercolors, Polymer Clay/Fairy Garden in a Jar, Quilting, Seagrass Stool, Silver Jewelry, Stained Glass Basic, Sterling Silver Wrapped Jewelry, YoY o Quilt or Pillow Top.
