AAF Flanders, IONaer collaborate on system to purify, monitor air

AAF Flanders and IONaer have joined forces to launch a breakthrough indoor air-purification and monitoring system.

The CleanAir EXP Purification System combines the most sophisticated in-room sensors with the latest air purification technology to cleanse indoor air of pathogens, allergies, smoke, odors, ozone, mold and harmful chemicals. For the first time, the power to control and manage indoor air quality in real time is in the hands of North Carolina consumers.

The system’s technology allows consumers to optimized indoor air quality in residential or commercial structures the way a thermostat controls air temperature.

“Our mission is to bring clean air to life, and we are continually looking for new and better ways to do that,” said Jerry McGuire, vice president of global marketing for AAF Flanders. “We’ve been following IONaer’s progress with this game-changing technology for the past two years, and the results have been nothing short of incredible. Many people don’t realize the huge impact poor IAQ can have on our health and wellbeing, especially for those struggling with extremely challenging respiratory conditions like asthma. CleanAir EXP has the potential to change people’s lives like no other air filtration technology available today, and we are excited to help bring it to market.”

IONaer President and CEO Tim Bender talked about the collaboration between IONaer and AAF Flanders.

“Until now, air filtration companies could only deliver clean air into the occupied space, but they could not completely manage the air quality. All of that changes today,” he said. “For decades, we have known about the harmful effects of poor IAQ, but have not been able to control it because we can’t fully control the occupied space. Doors open, people move, electronics and furniture emit harmful pollutants, and chemicals are used to clean the space or mask odors. All of those products and events drive up pollution levels inside of a home or building, and we suffer the consequences. That’s why we’re so excited to offer this revolutionary new product to the market. Every building in the world should have this technology, so that we can all breathe clean, healthy indoor air.”

During a 30-day pre-sale period, AAF Flanders has arranged to help IONaer bring the first 1,000 publicly available units of CleanAir EXP to consumers and businesses in select greater metropolitan markets, including Louisville, Kentucky; Phoenix, Arizona; Raleigh; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kansas City, Missouri; Tampa, Florida; Albany, New York; Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Chicago.
