From the Beaufort County Extension Agency

 

We will be hosting our third-annual Beaufort County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale next Tuesday in Terra Ceia at the Coastal Carolina Cotton Gin.

The “show” portion of the event begins around 11 a.m. and runs through the afternoon. The Terra Ceia FFA Chapter will be cooking hamburgers for lunch. If you haven’t been to an event like this, come on out at lunch time or sometime in the afternoon to check it out.

The awards presentations will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Dinner will begin at 5 p.m. and will be followed by the “sale” portion of the event at 6 p.m. We want to extend an invitation for you to come out and support the auction. Bidder numbers will be available if you want to help support the youth in the auction. Bring your children and/or grandchildren so they can learn more about being involved in this event next year.

Please call Ashley Latham at 252-946-0111 if you plan to eat dinner with us so we can make sure the caterer has enough food.
