West Belhaven Church of Christ will be the scene of a great Easter celebration on today and Friday, as the congregation presents “Jesus Saves,” a captivating Easter musical and drama.

Each year, we celebrate by remembering, by retelling the account of our Savior’s last days on earth, His death and His glorious resurrection. Every detail of this story is crucial to understanding exactly what our Lord suffered for us.

“Jesus Saves” recreates this epic narrative from the Scripture with electrifying detail. From the agonizing tension of Jesus’ arrest and trials, then, the heart-breaking account of His scourging and crucifixion, to the breathtaking joy of His resurrection, “Jesus Saves” tells this remarkable story of redemption through music and drama.

This will be the 12th year West Belhaven Church of Christ has told the story of Christ’s last days through the combination of song and drama. The outpouring of community support and encouragement has led the congregation to continue presenting the program.

“Jesus Saves” will lead you to remember the sacrifice our Lord Jesus paid for you and me. The community is invited to attend this worship experience today and Friday at 7:30 p.m. at West Belhaven Church of Christ, 1014 W. Main St., Belhaven. Admission is free. Come and be blessed.
