Mrs. Mary Ruth Swain Gilliam, 77, of 101 Woodlawn Terrace, Plymouth, died Monday, May 27, 2019, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019, at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, with Rev. Harry Lee White Jr. and Bishop Avery A. Barnes Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Watson Memorial Garden, Roper. Arrangements are by Puckett–Purkett Funeral Home.
