From the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office

On June 29, investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested David Andrews, 46, and Michael Andrews, 48, both of Carolina Avenue in Washington. The two were charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Their arrest stemmed from investigators receiving information that David Andrews and Michael Andrews were probation absconders and involved in the use and distribution of methamphetamine. Investigators conducted surveillance and initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that David Andrews and Michael Andrews were passengers in. Investigators conducted a search and found a plastic bag containing methamphetamine in David Andrews’s pocket and a plastic bag containing Methamphetamine in Michael Andrews’s pocket.

Both men were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $30,000 secured bond.
