Columbia officials have declared this former barber shop and adjacent dwelling house on South Broad Street a fire hazard and nuisance, and Jamillah Finley of Fresno, California, daughter of the late Dr. Janette Fleming, who grew up there, was notified last month to voluntarily tear them down and clear the lot.
