ALL ABOUT THE BLUES: The Turnage Theatre was alive with the sounds of the Blues Thursday night, as the Beaufort County Traditional Music Association hosted its July Variety Show. The show featured two local groups, The Flatland Zingers and the Blounts Creek Blues Boys. While the former jammed to folksy, country blues, the latter played a more rock-influenced set. Performing as The Flatland Zingers, pictured, were Rob Cuthrell, Linda Boyer, Eric Holmes and Justin Casey. Randy Coggins, Jay Costello, Bob Daw and Reggie Workman made up the Blounts Creek Blues Boys.
