Columbia mayor James Cahoon chats with Bobby Mitchell during the annual November group gathering on July 27 in Tyrrell Hall, sponsored by the Tyrrell County Genealogical & Historical Society to honor residents and Tyrrell natives aged 85 or above. Mitchell, at 102, was the oldest of 57 persons present.
