Planning is continuing for the Saturday, October 12, 2019 edition of the Scuppernong River Festival, with Joy the Clown joining the cast of entertainers at the day-long street festival in the Town of Columbia. Joy the Clown will be riding her unicycle in the Main Street Parade and afterwards will be doing face painting and balloon art under her tent. She will also have a rabbit and dove for children to see and pet. She will be joined by a number of entertainers and a host of amusement rides, helicopter rides, food, arts and crafts vendors capped off with fireworks over the Scuppernong River and a night time concert.
