William McKinley “Bill” Batey, 82, Creswell died on Saturday, August 17, 2019, at his residence in Creswell.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell with Pastor Steven Mills officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell. Burial with full military honors will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.
