Washington Regional Medical Center, formerly Washington County Hospital, invites the public to an open house event Thursday Aug. 29, at 1 p.m. The event, held at the front of the hospital located at 958 U.S. Highway 64 East in Plymouth, will focus on the recent changes to the hospital.

“We want the public to understand that our focus has returned to service-based healthcare and proactive approaches to providing that care,” said Frank Avignone, CEO of Affinity Health Partners, the new manager of the hospital since May 15. “It is our responsibility to not wait for people to become sick before we engage them. We need to be focused on outreach and the health of the community everyday before people become ill.”

The staff and management of the new Washington Regional Medical Center invite the public to come to the hospital and interact with the staff.
