State to host community disaster information sessions in Hyde County

State officials will hold a series of 15 community disaster information sessions to provide an update on recovery resources that are available in hurricane-impacted areas of eastern North Carolina. The partnership of agencies hosting the events includes the Office of Governor Roy Cooper, North Carolina Office of Recovery and Resiliency, North Carolina Emergency Management and the state departments of Environmental Quality and Health and Human Services. All community members are encouraged to attend the information sessions. The information session for Hyde County will be held Sept. 3 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mattamuskeet Early College High School cafeteria, located at 20392 U.S. Highway 264 in Swan Quarter.
