Board of Elections to consider One Stop voting changes due to Dorian

Please be advised, Beaufort County government is closing tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 4 at noon due to Hurricane Dorian. The Beaufort County Board of Elections will have an emergency meeting today at 5 p.m. to consider altering the One Stop Plan for the Sept. 10 Election. The Board will make a definite decision at 5 p.m. today. The Board of Elections would encourage Beaufort County Voters who want to vote in early in for the Sept. 10, Congressional Election to do so today until 6 p.m. today and tomorrow by noon.
Changes to the One Stop Plan will be published on the Board of Elections Website beaufortncboe.org as soon as the Board takes action at 5 pm today.
Precinct Polling Places will be open on Tuesday, Sept. 10 for the purposes of voting in the Congressional Special Elections from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
