Tyrrell County Center

Do you have a special skill to share? Are you interested in working with youth? Or are you just looking to make a difference? Tyrrell County 4-H might just be the place for you!

We are looking for Volunteers to lead our Clubs throughout the school year.

4-H Clubs meet once a week for 6 weeks or once a month for 9 months depending on the Leader’s schedule.

A club focus can be on just about anything; we are looking to offer our youth as many life skills as we can!

Some ideas we are looking at this year: Electric, Cooking, Etiquette, and Junior Master Gardeners; but the possibilities are endless!

If you are interested in becoming a 4-H Leader please contact Lauren Nelson, 4-H Agent, at 252-796-1581 or lauren_nelson@ncsu.edu, and check out our website for more information on our program: https://tyrrell.ces.ncsu.edu/categories/4-h-youth-development/.

We will hold a Volunteer Meeting on Tuesday, September 10, at 6 p.m. in the Extension Office, 407 Martha Street, Columbia.

Please RSVP to Lauren Nelson.
