From NC Wildlife Federation

Do you enjoy making things? Do you appreciate wildlife? Interested in creating a unique art piece for your home or to give as a gift? Well, the North Carolina Wildlife

Federation will be hosting a Wildlife String Art Workshop on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. in the classroom at the Pocosin Lakes National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters.

Participants will create and take home a wildlife-themed string art piece using wood, nails, cotton string, and vinyl lettering. Supplies and a selection of wildlife templates will be provided. Also during the workshop, NC Wildlife Federation staff will be on hand to provide information about upcoming and ongoing local wildlife projects and the ways you can be involved. So come out and join other wildlife enthusiasts as we create and conserve our local wildlife resources. The workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is required as class size is limited. To register, please visit rebrand.ly/NCWFstringart or call 252-796-3004 ext 222.
