CHRISTMAS HOPE: LifeQuest in Washington was the scene of a rehearsal Wednesday for the upcoming dramatic performance called “The Battle,” a message of hope during the Christmas season. Performed by LifeQuest clients, who suffer from mental illness, “This play not only promotes ‘good’ for our community but also assists with recovery and restoration of those suffering,” said Jennifer Schmitt. Admission is free. Showtimes are Thursday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Friday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. There will also be crafts, baked goods, Paws for Wellness donation and adoption opportunities and pictures with Santa in the lobby.
