Neva W. Wallace

Mrs. Neva W. Wallace, age 87, a resident of Pinetown, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at her home.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church and will be officiated by Bobby Owens. Burial will follow in the Wallace Family Cemetery in Pinetown. Pallbearers include her four grandsons, Terence Wallace, Chase White, Hayden White and William Russ. Alan Biggs and Chubby Woolard will also serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Wallace was born in Beaufort County on Nov. 4, 1932, to the late Charlie D. Woolard and Annie Silverthorne Woolard. She attended Washington High School. On March 28, 1954, she married Octavus “Toby” R. Wallace Sr. Mrs. Wallace was a devoted farmer’s wife and mother. She was also a member of Shiloh FWB Church.
Survivors include her three children, Ted Wallace and wife Faye, Octavus R. Wallace Jr. and wife Cindy, Janet White and husband Brent; four grandsons; one granddaughter, Victoria Wallace; one great-granddaughter, Addelynne Russ; and a sister, Sylvia Woolard Read.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Octavus “Toby” R. Wallace, on March 21, 2019.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour at Shiloh FWB Church.
