The Arc of Beaufort County would like to thank all who came to our inaugural Arc with a Spark event held at Fox Hollow Farm on March 7. We sincerely hope you enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres by Carryout by Chrislyn, the beverages supplied by Carolina Eagle Distributors of Greenville and Coca Cola Bottling Co. of Washington and the music by Special Occasion Band of Winston-Salem.
Thanks to you and the many fine items offered for silent auction by many contributors, we were able to raise almost $10,000 after expenses. Because of your generosity, opportunities for summer activities for young people with developmental disabilities will be greatly enhanced through coordination with activities offered by several ongoing camp opportunities in Beaufort County.
We are already planning the second-annual Arc with a Spark to be even better than the first. Mark your calendars for March 5, 2021.
