Mr. Travis Webster Respess, age 85, a resident of the Caswell Center of Kinston, died Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.

A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020, at Davis Cemetery of Pantego.

Mr. Respess was born in Beaufort County on Sept. 6, 1934, son of the late H. Moninger Respess and the late Aletha Winifred Webster. Due to being disabled, he lived most of his life at Caswell of Kinston.

Survivors include a sister, Virginia Respess Hollowell, of Long Acre; a brother, Herman M. Respess (Marta), of Harper Woods, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marianna Respess Heath, and a brother, David Elvis Respess.

The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Virginia Hollowell.
