The Small Business and Technology Development Center at East Carolina University will host a free virtual town hall for eastern North Carolina small business owners on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
The “Small Businesses Coping with COVID-19” weekly series will cover updates from federal and state resources, as well as other programs, that might help small businesses recover from and respond to issues related to COVID-19. SBTDC staff will cover topics including applying for relief packages, managing employees affected by the pandemic and developing business plans to navigate the negative economic effects of COVID-19. The event allows small business owners to interact directly with SBTDC staff and other experts in a virtual environment.
The series will take a holistic approach to supporting businesses affected by COVID-19 by providing additional resources related to stress management, working in a virtual environment, communication and work-life balance.
Participation is limited to the first 100 registered participants. Those interested are encouraged to register online at bit.ly/3dVVoX3.
The town hall series will run weekly at 2 p.m. over the next few weeks as we deal with the current situation.
