Amanda was born in Beaufort County on May 17, 1984. She was the light at any family event or gathering. She laughed, danced, joked and always made a point to make sure everyone was smiling. She was so caring and knew no stranger. Amanda June was the first person to spark up a fun afternoon whether it was at the beach, on a boat, at the river, on a 4-wheeler or coming up with fun activities inside. She was beautiful not only on the outside but her soul shined inside as well. Her life was committed and dedicated to her family, especially her children, making sure that they achieved their highest potential, and they were supported and loved always. Even in the face of her own struggles, she was always one to put others before herself. Her free spirit and joyfulness will be missed dearly, but we will cherish these memories with and of her close to our hearts. Pure love has no conditions or boundaries. It does not restrain itself or hold back. Love is a continuous flow without limits and has a sole intention of bringing people together in a time called forever. This is the kind of love that she had for her family, friends and loved ones and that same love we share for her.
Amanda is survived by her mother, Karen Melanson Midgett and her husband, Robert Midgett Sr., of Washington; father, James McLaurin Beddard Sr. and his wife, Linda, of Raleigh; two daughters, Cassidy Webb, Khloe Webb, and a son, Nathan Webb, all of Washington; fiancé, David Allen Webb, of Washington; a brother, James Beddard Jr. and fiancee Dama, of Washington; two stepbrothers, Robbie Midgett and wife Carrena, of Florida, David Glenn Midgett, of Washington; two stepsisters, Christina Barringer and husband Billy, of Washington, Tonya Dettman and husband Tom, of Florida; and paternal grandmother, Phyllis Hudson, of Washington.
