The Economic Improvement Council Community Action Agency is partnering with Good306 to give away over $2 million worth of household products for free.

This event will be open to the public at 9 a.m., July 14, at the EIC Head Start / Early Head Start Center, located at 306 Horton St. in Hamilton.

This is huge in our communities because the EIC Community Action Agency is standing true to the declaration Congress made in 1964 when they said, “It is the policy of the United States to eliminate the paradox of poverty in the midst of plenty in this nation”.

The items and the estimated quantity being given away are as follows:

• Pillows — 60,993
• Comforters — 4,075
• Pillows and mattress pads   2,520
• Shapes — 6,342
• Feather and fiber beds — 1,112
• Blankets — 3,377
