James Larkin Green, 79, of Plymouth, died, Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at Washington Regional Medical Center.
James was born in Halifax County on Nov. 21, 1940, to the late Lonnie and Gertie Nelson Green. He married Lynne Murph Green, who survives.
He was a wonderful husband and father that loved his family and for forty years he owned and operated Green’s Better-Quality Carpentry serving Washington County and the surrounding areas.
At Mr. Green’s request, a service will not be scheduled.
In addition to his wife, surviving is a daughter, Kelli Syers and husband Darren, of Chocowinity; three grandchildren, Brianna Elks, Layila Syers and Kane Syers. He is also survived by his brothers, Lonnie Green and Howard Green; and one sister, Loni G. Hawley.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gertie G. Crews.
Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service at Hampton Academy, Plymouth.
