Barbara Fleming, owner of B.F. Goodbrush Graphix in Columbia, donated her talents and time to crafting a new sign for Norman Smith Legion Beach on Albemarle Sound and presented the finished product to American Legion Post 182 on Sept. 14 in memory of her father Ernest Roughton, a World War II combat veteran, and in honor of all American armed forces veterans everywhere.
