Betty Ruth Hoyt Parvin passed away peacefully on Sept. 21, 2020. A lifelong resident of Washington, she was just shy of 86 years old. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Billy Parvin; her two sons, Gus (Nicole) and Ed (Kate); five grandchildren; and two nieces, Mary Toler and Beth Litchfield. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her best friend and sister, Julia Litchfield.

There will be a graveside service at Oakdale Cemetery for friends and family on Sept. 26, 2020, at 11 a.m. We ask attendees to exercise caution to protect yourself and others by following guidelines of the medical community.
