The Beaufort County Health Department says anyone ages 65 and older who wants to receive the COVID-19 vaccine should make an appointment soon via the department’s COVID-19 hotline.
“Within the past week we have noticed a decline in requests for appointments in those who qualify,” a health department press release reads. “In order to ensure we do not leave anyone behind before moving to the next phase, we are requesting anyone who is 65 years and older, who does not already have an appointment and would like the COVID-19 vaccine to call the COVID-19 hotline at 252-940-6150, starting Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 8:00 a.m.”
