All Beaufort County courts and court offices will return to normal operating hours as of March 3 according to county judicial officials.

Courts and court offices will be open weekly from Monday to Friday through the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Prior to March 3, the clerk’s office and courts have been operating under a modified schedule with workers only in the office from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Masks and face coverings continue to be required in all courthouses. 

To limit the spread of COVID-19, only those with business at the courthouse will be allowed entrance. Filings should be mailed and will be treated as timely if received by mail within five days of the due date. Contact through phone or email is encouraged by judicial officials when possible.
