Washington High School’s home football game against D.H. Conley has been moved from Friday to Saturday at 6:30, according to Pam Pack athletic officials.
The home game the following Tuesday, March 23, against Kinston has been postponed indefinitely, because North Carolina High School Athletic Association rules stipulate there must be three days between games.
Conley couldn’t play Friday because they have a game this Tuesday,” Pam Pack coach Perry Owens said. “They played J.H. Rose Friday, have New Bern Tuesday and us on Saturday. We wanted to keep our game with them, so we agreed to play Saturday. We will do our best to find a mutually acceptable date to play Kinston because it is a conference game.”
WHS is 2-0 after a 37-7 victory at Ayden-Grifton Friday.
