Mrs. Lillie Rebecca O’Neal White, wife of Rev. John White Jr. of Belhaven, North Carolina, departed this life on April 11, 2021.

She retired from the Beaufort County School System in 1993 after 34 years of dedicated service as a kindergarten teacher. Because of her love for others and humble spirit, she was loved by all who knew her. She was married to her beloved husband John for 63 years. 

Mrs. White leaves to cherish her memory: her husband Rev. John White Jr., two children, Dr. Tammy Rodman, Durham, North Carolina and Norman White of the home, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A service was held at Cherry’s Funeral Home Inc. in Windsor, North Carolina on Thursday, April 15, 2021. The internment followed at Martin Memorial Gardens in Williamston, North Carolina. The family would like to thank you for all acts of kindness during the loss of their loved one. As you have comforted them, may God also comfort you.
