The Washington High School girls golf team claimed the Eastern Carolina 2A Conference title over South Lenoir and West Craven Thursday at Falling Creek Golf Course in Kinston. Sydney O’Neal shot 98 to take medalist honors and the conference player of the year award. Anna Claire Bilbro and Anna Taylor contributed to the team score.
