Donald Ray Woolard, age 88, a resident of Washington, NC died Saturday October 16, 2021 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
A graveside service was held at 12:00 PM Monday October 18, 2021 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be officiated by Pastor Gary Bateman. Pallbearers include Nick Woolard, Coby Woolard, Devon Blount, Kristopher Doster, Stetson Mann, and Chubby Woolard. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Woolard, Bobby Gray Woolard, and Gary Wayne Woolard.
Mr. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on October 13, 1933 to the late Theodore and Emma Woolard. He was a graduate from Bath High School. On August 24, 1956 he married Donnie Ruth Pinkham. Mr. Woolard worked in Moss Planing Mill for 52 years until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Donnie P. Woolard, three sons, Ronnie Woolard, Ted Woolard, Toby Woolard and wife Anita all of Washington, five grandchildren, Courtney Blount and husband James, Nick Woolard, Coby Woolard and wife Victoria, Stacy Woolard, Donna Jackson, and many great and great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Woolard, two brothers, Leon Woolard, Horace Woolard, a sister, Rebecca Walls and a daughter in law, Sharon Woolard.
