Mrs. Gracie Cayton Cayton, age 79, a resident of Aurora, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Grantsbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on May 23, 1942.

Gracie was preceded in death by her parents: Bernie Cayton and Nettie Daniels Cayton; siblings: John Cayton and LaRue Cayton.

She is survived by her husband: Edwin Cayton of the home; children: Rosemary Williamson (Gene) of Aurora and David Cayton (Marsha) of Smithfield; grandchildren: Holli Williamson and Lee Williamson; siblings Janise Edwards and Georgia Williams.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Sandy Grove Primitive FWB Cemetery on Old Sandhill Road on Tuesday February 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.  Pastor Phillip Lewis will officiate her service.

The family sincerely appreciates the loving care given by the staff at Grantsbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
