Sheriff’s Office makes drug arrests

On 03/01/2022, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Kenny Wright, 55 years of age, of 610 Chapin Street in Aurora, Christopher Wilson, 34 years of age, of 610 Chapin Street in Aurora and Arthur Randolph Overton, 50 years of age, of 610 Chapin Street in Aurora.
Wright was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wilson was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Overton was charged with Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Using and Selling a Controlled Substance.
Their arrest stemmed from Investigators purchasing Methamphetamine from Wright at 610 Chapin Street in Aurora. Investigators conducted a search of 610 Chapin Street and found Methamphetamine, Heroin and Drug Paraphernalia.
Wright was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $20,000.00 secured bond. Wilson and Overton were confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $3,000.00 secured bond.
