The Washington Noon Rotary Club welcomed the opportunity to host the Beer Tent at the April 16th Drifter’s Concert. A total of eighteen club members staffed the tent including John Rebholz, Tom Pederson, Chuck Caldwell, pictured left to right, Ann-Maire Montague and Jan Hensley while Mayor Donald Sadler, also a Noon Rotarian, addressed the audience prior to the concert at the Washington-Warren Airport.
All net proceeds from the beverage sales will be reinvested within our Beaufort County community.
Throughout the year, the Noon Rotary Club conducts a number of fundraising events including the October Smoke on the Water Barbecue competition and Friday’s Reverse Raffle Drawing at the Washington Country Club. Over the past year the Noon Rotary Club has financially supported more than 25 area local charities and non-profit organizations. The club conducts weekly noon luncheon meetings each Monday at the King Chicken Banquet Hall. Interested prospective members are encouraged to contact Dot Moate at (252) 975-6309.
