This week at Washington Noon Rotary, club member Stacey Drakeford introduced Catherine Glover, Executive Director of the Washington Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce.
After briefly providing her history and background for the very few club members who were not already familiar with Catherine, she reported on the Chamber’s recent and upcoming activities. Assistant Chamber Director Robin McKeithan (L) is pictured with her.
Many club members in attendance were Chamber board members and several others, Chamber business members. All members were delighted to learn of the Chamber’s consistent involvement in efforts to promote business in the community, along with networking events, educational components, and especially Bright Futures, which is a charitable foundation operated by the Chamber.
The Chamber will host its 39th Summer Festival June 10 and 11 at the Washington Waterfront, featuring music, food, and family-centered entertainment.
