Chocowinity Middle School won the Beaufort County Brawl tournament final in dramatic fashion with an 11-10 walk-off victory over Bath Elementary. The game was tied at 10 when TJ Minor singled to drive in the winning run.
Minor collected four hits, including two doubles, to help lead Chocowinity to victory. .
Chocowinity put up eight runs in the fifth inning with singles by Luke Bullock, Minor, Sam Elks, and Taylor Ashley, walks by Jackson Harding and Markel Tyre.
Bullock was the winning pitcher for Chocowinity. The hurler threw seven innings, striking out seven.
Chocowinity had 14 hits in the game. Minor, Bullock, and Ashley each had multiple hits.
Northeast Elementary and Pungo Christian Academy also participated in the Brawl. (Submitted)
