I have written many different articles about from Washington.  There is one person who is my best friend that that I have written about. This person is not from Washington and is not afraid to tell anyone where she is from and that is my beautiful and intelligent wife, Tracey.

Tracey Smith Robinson is the youngest daughter of Otha and Reba Smith from Chocowinity and she has two sisters, Windy Earle and Kim, both of whom are beautiful ladies.  They all three will promptly tell you that they are from Chocowinity and graduated from Chocowinity High School.  Tracey is my biggest fan and has taken my space to write about the successes of her husband and has been complimented by others. But writing is not her forte but while good at it as she can be, her personality is her strong suit.

Tracey has that contagious personality and it can be seen when she is at work. People love Tracey and she is good at her job.  Being in retail all of her life, selling becomes easy to Tracey.  Having begun work at Heber Forbes clothing store in Greenville, she learned so many valuable lessons from Charles Forbes and she is quick to tell you where she got her experience from.  She even owned her Boutique in Greenville and it was called Tracey’s!

Having worked at Bloom Boutique until it closed, she was quickly hired by Vickie at Lane Blu Boutique where she has made an immediate impact.  I was especially proud of her as always.  Her clothing knowledge is beyond reproach and I never tell her what to wear for she mixes and matches better than anyone, rather, she picks out my clothes.  I love to watch Tracey at work!  She can make a person feel good and that is a rare quality today.  She can tell any person what they look nice in or what looks good on them.  She is simply the best!

Having moved to Washington as my wife, she has the personality and charm that people from here enjoy. She is a hit wherever we go! Her personality, charm and classy looks certainly do not hurt. Whether it is at the Country Club or the Herring Club it really does not matter.  She can mix with the richest or the poorest and show both groups respect.  Her stories can last for thirty minutes but you know I love it and her!

There are more qualities that she possesses but there is not room to share but one that I most love is her love for the Pamlico River.  She and I both share that love and the love we have for one another!  She and I will sit on the front porch late in the evening and just watch the river as the sunsets on over Chocowinity. I am both of her and love her to the moon and back!

They were the best of times with the best of friends and in the best of places, Washington, N. C.! The Original Washington!
