Justin Holt, Principal of Southside High School, pictured right with Kiwanian Paige Davis, was the speaker at the July 19 Kiwanis Meeting at King Chicken in Washington.   He spoke about Southside High being a community where staff, students and parents were actively engaged in providing a great learning environment for students.  Holt is interested in providing more “clubs” for his students to further expand their educational opportunities.  He mentioned a Math Club, Beta Club, and our favorite, a Kiwanis Key Club.

The Kiwanis Club of Washington meets each Tuesday for lunch at King Chicken on Carolina Avenue. The club welcomes prospective members who have an interest in service to the community.
