The Northside High School varsity cheerleading team recently completed four days of competition at a cheer camp at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Junior Kayla White and sophomore Trinity O’Neal earned All-American honors for their efforts and will perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade December 4-9 in Honolulu, Hi.
“We are super proud of Kayla and Trinity and are very excited for them,” Northside coach Caryn Vaughn said. “I’m proud of my whole team for performing very well from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for four days straight. It was our first time at a camp like this and we had a lot of fun, even though the days were long. We’re excited to show everybody what we learned when the football games start.”
